The Role 

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be the tip of the spear, leading our outbound demand generation efforts and scheduling conversations with prospects. In this role, you will be actively prospecting new logo accounts. You must be comfortable contacting and qualifying senior executives and managers in a fast-paced environment as the organization continues to experience an impressive growth trajectory. 

You will be the first point of contact for leading academic institutions and Fortune 1000 companies to learn more about how Lumivero's portfolio of products can help them drive better decision-making and positive outcomes. This is the perfect position for a motivated sales professional with a strong desire to win by selling market-leading software solutions. 

The right candidate is a technically savvy problem-solver who can build strong relationships with prospects. We are seeking a dynamic individual with a passion for sales and a proven track record in outbound prospecting. This role offers opportunities for training and promotion in recognition of your success as a BDR. 

This role is full-time, exempt, and remote in the USA. It will report to the Manager of Business Development. 

More specifically, you will:  

  • Conduct outbound prospecting to uncover potential opportunities by having conversations and setting meetings with prospective buyers. 
  • Partner with Account Executives and collaborate on how to best generate sales opportunities. 
  • Track and forecast all activities via Salesforce and Outreach.  
  • Present Lumivero's portfolio of products to potential clients, articulating value propositions and addressing client needs effectively. 
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across target accounts, influencing decision-makers through consultative conversations. 
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets set by the company. 
  • Become an expert on the needs of our prospects and our software. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge. 
Required Skills and Experience 
  • 1-2 years of previous experience as an outbound BDR in a SaaS/B2B sales organization. 
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Outreach.io, Sales Navigator, or similar sales technology platforms. 
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to diverse audiences. 
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a B2B environment. 
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and a passion for sales excellence. 

Preferred Skills and Experience 

  • Familiarity with data intelligence SaaS software and experience selling to Fortune 1000 brands. 
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study. 

Salary

  • $50,000 - $55,000 annual base salary.
  • Opportunity for on-target earnings of $70,000.
